Jason Gardner has had a very non-traditional career for an attorney, but one which has been dedicated to helping people at every step in his career. He has worked as a Trust and Estate Attorney, a Contract Manager for the State, and as a Deputy District Attorney before he came to Evans Case, LLP. Jason also has a very analytical mind and is a consummate problem solver, as he spent over 23 years in the Information Technology field working his way up to be an IT Director prior to his career in law. Additionally, Jason has worked in retail sales, managed businesses, and was even a Combat Engineer in the U.S. Army. He believes in working hard and doing what is right all of the time. His analytical and logical approach towards each case he takes on, along with his passion for helping people and his very calming and personable manner have served his clients well throughout his career.

Jason is a second-generation Colorado native, who graduated from the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law Evening Program in 2011, while working full-time as an IT Director. The Part-Time Evening Program at the University of Denver is consistently ranked among the best in the nation. Jason was very active at the University of Denver as a member of the Law School’s Student Bar Association as a Senator and Vice President. He also interned for the National Conference for State Legislators, the Independence Institute, and Holsinger Law, LLC during law school.

After graduation Jason began working as a Trust and Estate Attorney. He became interested in working in trusts and estates during law school, and that interest became a passion and the beginning of a new career after graduation and while also helping both of his ailing parents with their estate plan during their final years. After a brief hiatus working with the State of Colorado as a Contracts Manager and then gaining additional trial and litigation skills as a Deputy District Attorney, Jason has now returned to working directly with clients and their estates, focusing on Probate Administration and Litigation at Evans Case, LLP.

Outside of the office, Jason enjoys reading, writing, and of course, spending time with his wife and two daughters. He especially enjoys spending time in the outdoors hiking, mountain biking, hunting, and camping. Jason is active in his church, and Jason has coached soccer and softball for his girl’s teams, and he is an avid sports fan.
