An elderly couple signed a contract to purchase a pre-manufactured home and paid a substantial amount to the seller up-front. The seller did not complete the work, filed for bankruptcy, and failed to pay certain subcontractors which led to a mechanics lien being placed on their property.
The couple hired Larry Jacobs. During the course of his research and investigation, Larry found that pre-manufactured home sellers are required to post a bond. Larry also discovered that the mechanics liens had expired. The insurance company was forced to pay the bond and the mechanics lien was extinguished.
Our clients were able to get all of their money returned to them.
I was proud to see this through to a successful conclusion for our clients. – Larry Jacobs
